Pickle Pals Awarded Grant

Lubbock, TX – 07/21/2024 – Pickle Pals, a local after-school program focused on fun and community building through pickleball, is honored to announce receiving a grant from USA Pickleball on May 24, 2024.

The USA Pickleball Youth Grant supports organizations that provide pickleball opportunities for young people. Pickle Pals will use the grant funding to purchase new pickleball equipment and expand their existing programs.

“We are thrilled to receive this grant from USA Pickleball,” said Silas Washington, Founder & Executive Director of Pickle Pals. “This funding will allow us to introduce pickleball to even more youth in our community and students who might not otherwise be able to participate.”
